WiFi Reporter

The WiFi Reporter is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet tool that allows iNE to provide our Bluesocket customers with a specialized, advanced graphic display of wireless usage. This has become a critical component for Libraries and Councils around Australia in measuring usage by public members for monitoring of abuse, and providing usage reports on session counts.

The benefits that we see every time we deliver a Bluesocket Wireless solution is just how popular the access is with the public, whilst also being popular with our Council clients for the serious reduction in ongoing managements costs, literally in the tens to hundreds of thousands over 5 years.

Our case study of Stonnington Council shows that an increase of foot traffic at Toorak Library has dramatically increased the exposure of the library in particular to school and university students. The delight in knowing that our community resources are in turn again popular for the younger generation going through education is amazing.

The WiFi Reporter tool also allows for custom graphs but by default we include:

Top 50 users by MB

Session usage by Library / Role

WiFi Usage by the hour

Overall usage by Library Locations

And other data graph presentations that can be customized upon request from the client.

Les Firth of Yarra Plenty Regional Library deserves the credit for the advanced excel programming and data manipulation techniques in allowing INE to provide an appropriate report tool for Bluesocket clients.

The tool integrates best with the recommended "Kiwi Syslog Server" for windows.

Currently installation and licensing for the WiFi Reporter SRP is set at $1990 ex GST.
